Training & Boarding

Horse Board and Training are available to suit most every need.  Boarding services include choice of indoor or outdoor stalls, twice-daily feedings, automatic watering systems, new shavings as needed, daily stall cleaning, and turn-outs upon request.

Full Training is offered specializing in all Saddlebred disciplines. It includes all services listed above plus up to six days per week expert training for Five Gaited, Three Gaited, Fine Harness, Pleasure, Equitation, Western and Academy/School horses.  Partial (half time) training is also available to meet specialized requirements for the horse and owner.

Lessons

Yount Stables is able to offer several skilled options to work with both horse and rider to develop talents required for safe riding at home or winning at the largest of horse shows

Lessons are available for adults and children 3 years old and up.  Lessons are offered individually or in cost effective packages.  Lesson time may vary slightly each week based upon individual horse and rider accomplishments. Generally however, overall time, including cleaning up and putting away of each horse is about an hour.

We are currently offering an introductory riding lesson for FREE!

We also offer Summer Camps that are a great way to increase your child's knowledge of riding and horsmanship. Sessions are available for all levels of riders.

Hauling

Yount Stables offers our personal commercial hauling services for all breeds.  We are able to haul up to 19 horses at a time with our two different  hauling options.   Our Semi Rig holds 12 horses with tack, or up to 15 horses comfortably without tack or equipment. We specialize in hauling loads of 10 or more to horse shows or long distance hauls. We have Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration qualified drivers with CDL's  (Commercial Drivers License). 

The four horse slant load is used for short hauls or smaller loads. It was specifically built in 2006 to haul Saddlebreds and is extra tall and extra wide.  Our equipment is new and kept in excellent condition according to Federal regulations 

We offer our special attention to all horses needing transportation for sale, show or breeding.
